Glenna has always said that if there was an Academy Award of Professional Communications, she would hope to be nominated for the Best Communicator in a Supporting Role as it is the Supporting Role that gives her the most satisfaction. 

 

Glenna started providing support to me in my role at The City of Red Deer in 2010. More than a decade later, Glenna has helped me move successfully into my consulting career. 

 

After more than 22 years as a consultant and 20 years of public, private and agency communications leadership, Glenna retired quietly in the fall of 2021. I have the privilege of taking over many portions of her business and making them my own. Much of what I do through my work is inspired by Glenna’s brilliance and professionalism. I strive to continue her legacy of building capacity for professional communicators through my work.
